Anne Dawson, Head of the Media School, University of Gloucestershire, presented a paper at an international conference on Digital Inclusion at the University of Liverpool’s London campus on June 21st. The paper was well received, with audience members asking questions around the digital literacy strategies for refugees, asylum seekers and migrants across Europe.
Kick Off Meeting in UK
The Kick Off Meeting for the Erasmus+ funded two-year project Media Literacy for Refugee, Asylum Seeking and Migrant Women took place at the University of Gloucestershire December 4/5 2017. Partners from 6 countries, Italy, Malta, Greece, Ireland, Austria and the UK met and swapped ideas about how to implement our project. As a consortium of NGOs, academics and education experts, it was an exciting and positive meeting. And we all brought ‘Euro snacks’ to help the meeting go even better.
